Since its inception, the hospital has provided treatment to more than 9,000 burn patients.
Patients with severe burns are admitted almost daily—especially during winter when simple accommodations heated by open fires or kerosene stoves increase the risk. Notably, nearly two-thirds of these burn victims are children, and severe scalds caused by spilled hot liquids such as water, tea, or oil are frequent occurrences.
We deliver compassionate care through a multidisciplinary approach that guides patients from the initial injury to full recovery. Our specialized team of physicians, nurses, and rehabilitation experts follows a robust acute care protocol that includes rapid assessment, effective debridement, state-of-the-art wound care, and early intervention to prevent complications. This comprehensive treatment plan also features rigorous infection control measures, tailored pain management, and nutritional support, all designed to promote optimal healing.
Recognizing that recovery extends beyond physical healing, our service incorporates extensive rehabilitation programs. These initiatives are carefully designed to restore mobility, improve functionality, and support the psychological well-being of our patients through personalized therapy and counseling. This integrated care model ensures that every patient receives continuous support throughout their recovery journey.
